Wayne Taylor

Wayne Taylor, 74 of Palestine, IL, died at 6:51 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 1, 1934 in Pottawantomie County, OK, the son of Gerald Harvey Taylor and Flora Bernice Burns Taylor. He was a caster at the Case Pottery in Robinson. He was also a member of the Palestine Eagles Lodge #3329.He is survived by his daughter, Bea Ann Wilson, Stoy; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sandra Taylor Robinson, Scott and Darra Taylor, Robinson, and Cahrlie Taylor, Robinson; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Taylor.Cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Hardinville Cemetery with Rev. Gene Beard officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
