Wayne C. Peterson

Wayne C. Peterson, 65 of Robinson, IL died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1945 in Robinson, IL, the son of John C. Peterson and Dorothy Swope Peterson. He worked for the Case Pottery and was a member of the Men€™s Auxiliary of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549.He married Beverly Etchason on July 23, 1992 and she survives. He is also survived by his 3 sons, John Peterson, Robinson, Ronnie Peterson, Robinson, Shawn Peterson, Robinson; his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Marshall Benton, Robinson; his step-son, James Wayne Pattin, Mattoon; his step-daughter and her husband, Julia and Jason Aulds, Nashville, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Rex Peterson; and an infant son.There will be cremation with no services. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the V. F. W. Post #4549 Transportation Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
