Wanda G. Adams, 83, of Robinson, IL, died at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the United Methodist Village, Lawrenceville, IL. She was born April 27, 1928 in Robinson Township, the daughter of Arlington Parrott and Ola Inboden Parrott. She worked in production at L. S. Heath Candy Factory and was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church.Wanda married Grant C. Adams on October 16, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph Parrott and Lowell Parrott; and 3 sisters, Beulah Smith, Juanita Schlosser and Lulu Lorance. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Zel and Jeannie Adams, Robinson and Jan and Jana Adams, Robinson; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Kristi and Lynn McCleave, Robinson, Jonathon Adams, Robinson, Joshua and Danielle Adams, Robinson, Jason and Tabitha Adams, Flat Rock, and Justin Adams, Robinson; her great granddaughter, Katelyn McCleave; her great grandson, Trenton Adams; her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Tom Bailey, Robinson; and her sisters-in-law, Ellen Parrott, Robinson, Ruth Parrott, Robinson, Leona Adams, Robinson and Sharon Adams, Robinson.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Rev Linda Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Adams/Richart Cemetery, rural Robinson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Zion United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
