Virgie M. Smith, 93, Robinson, IL died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center. She was born December 16, 1914 in Rush Tower, MO, the daughter of Edward C. McDonald and Maude B. Gibson McDonald. She had worked for Robinson Electronics for many years and retired in 1967. She was a member of Prior Grove Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Leroy Huskey, William Lemmon and Darrell Smith. She was also preceded by 6 brothers; 4 sisters; a daughter, Shirley Milam; a son, Leroy Huskey; and a great-grandson.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diana Lemmon, Robinson; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Kermit Tuel, Lewisville, IL;several grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will follow in the Hardinville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. till service time on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Prior Grove Baptist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
