Vicki Lee 'Meemaw' Stephens, 61, of Robinson, died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, May 15th, 2008 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born January 13, 1947 in Biloxi, MS, the daughter of Charles Hoke Sr. and Melba Brewster Hoke. She was a homemaker, a member of the Flat Rock United Methodist Church and the Central Wabash Valley Archaeology Chapter. Her hobbies included quilting, photography, gardening and scrap-booking.She married Lynn D. Stephens December 30, 1971, and he survives. She is also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, K.L. and Rhonda Kimmel, Robinson, Mike and Diane Stephens, Robinson, Perry and Anna Marie Stephens, Spartanburg, SC; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Terry Martin, Evansville, IN; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Charles Jr. and Beverly Hoke, Lawrenceville, Gene and Brenda Hoke, Robinson, Michael and Pam Hoke, Robinson; her mother-in-law, Ruth Stephens, Annapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark Hoke.Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 18th at 2 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Delbert Pancake and Rev. Jeff Haley are in charge of services. Burial is in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, IL. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-7 p.m. and until service time on Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society or to the Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
