Vera Lucille Adams

Vera Lucille Adams, 90 of Palestine, IL, formerly of Robinson, died at 11:40 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born September 18, 1920 in rural Oblong, the daughter of John Lilly and Nora Watts Lilly. She was a homemaker and a member of the Robinson Wesleyan Church.She married Robert Doyle and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1988. She then married Forrest Adams April 28, 1990 and he preceded her on October 29, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her grandson.She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Roberta and Delane Adams, Robinson and Mary Ellen and Kenneth Hill, Robinson; her son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Virginia Doyle, Winter Garden, FL; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Dan Szombathy is in charge of services. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 20th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Robinson Wesleyan Church.
