Vera L. Weger

Vera L. Weger, 86 of Robinson, died at Crest View Nursing Center in Vincennes, Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 5:57 a.m. (e.s.t.). She was born September 23, 1921 in Crawford County, IL, the daughter of Dewitt Tedford and Goldie Meeks Tedford. She was a homemaker and attended the South Union Church and Dayspring Church.She married Guy E. Weger June 16, 1943 and he preceded her in death October 13, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Virgil L. Tedford and her sister, Leatha Maxine Tedford.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Linda Weger, Robinson; her daughter and son-in-law, Sonja and Don Goodwin, rural Palestine; her step granddaughter and her husband, Janet & Kevin Crist, Indianapolis, IN; her step grandson, Nolan Mendenhall, Jr., Avon, IN; 2 step great grandsons, Tanner Douglas and Cody Crist, both of Avon, IN; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma Weger, Flat Rock, Anita & James Allison, Evansville, and Joan and Porter Jack, Chebanse, IL.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008,at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Bob Fear officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 2nd at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Dayspring Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
