Troy L. Jeffries

Troy L. Jeffries, 47, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1962 in Miami , FL , the son of Kenneth L. “Jack” Jeffries and Charlene Smith Jeffries. He worked for the Robinson Street Department. He was an avid bow hunter, golfer, and mushroom hunter. He was a member of the Oak Glen Golf Course.Troy married Sandra L. Flintoff on November 1, 1980 and she survives. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Jack and Johna Jeffries, Robinson; his mother and stepfather, Charlene and Ron Holsinger, Anderson, Indiana; his son, Nicholas A. Jeffries, Robinson; his daughter, Tiffany L. Jeffries, Syracuse, IN; his brother and sister-in-law, T. J. and Rachelle Jeffries, Kokomo, IN; his sister, Teresa Heath; his paternal grandmother, Mary Krieg, Eustis, FL; his aunt, Barb Distelhorst, Eustis, FL.; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Bess Johnson; his grandmother, Garnet Keller; and his grandfather and his wife, Harry and Helen Jeffries.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine in charge of services. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the funeral home.
