Trevor Alan Bonesteel

Trevor Alan Bonesteel, 27, of West Union, IL, died January 18, 2020, in West Union. He was born August 31, 1992, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Gary Bonesteel & Karen (Hanna) Newman. He came into this world fighting as a preemie but grew to be larger than life. He was raised in the West Union area and attended school in Marshall. Anyone who knew him could attest to his love of animals, his best friend in the world being his dog, Richard, (affectionately known as "Dick"). He also raised goats until he was forced to give them up due to poor health. We're going to miss this self-proclaimed "good old country boy" for the rest of our days. Rest in peace, Trevor. He is survived by his mom & step-dad, Karen & Patrick Newman; by his sisters, Bradi Sumner and Martika & husband Kristin Mullins; by his grandparents, James & Karen Bonesteel; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tasha Renee Bonesteel; by his father, Gary W. Bonesteel; and by his grandparents, Clyde & Alice Hanna. There will be no public services at this time. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of cremation arrangements.
