Thomas W. Hill

Thomas W. Hill, 52 of Robinson, IL, died at 9:50 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Long Term Care Unit of Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. He was born August 17, 1957 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Billy E. Hill and Martha Gibson Hill. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1975. He was a boilermaker for Local #363 and a member of the Robinson BPO Elks Lodge #1188. He loved hunting, trapshooting, and golf. Tom married Janet L. Longnecker on June 18, 1976 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 daughters and son-in-law, Laura and Jason Kidwell, Clinton, IN, and Julia Hill, Robinson; his grandson, Andrew Kidwell, Clinton, IN; his mother-in-law, Mary E. Longnecker, Lawrenceville, IL, his parents, Bill and Martha Hill, Lawrenceville; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Pam Hill, Bridgeport, Robert and Jackie Hill, Bridgeport, David and Deb Hill, Kansas City, KA, Daniel and Debbie Hill, Sumner, IL.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 19th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial will be at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, St. Louis Chapter, 2258 Weldon Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146 with envelopes available at the funeral home.
