Terri Pease, 65, of Robinson, IL, died at 6:55 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1953 in Robinson, the daughter of Elsie Lucille Turner, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sherri Lewis; by her aunt, Christine Turner; by her step-son, Roger Pease; and by her step-daughter, Donetta Pease. She married Maath Pease on April 13, 2010, and he survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Leslie Sanders-Duran (Terre Haute, IN) and Alisha Sanders-Goff (Robinson, IL); by her grandchildren, Tristen Duran (Robinson, IL), Daytona Duran (Robinson, IL), Josie Goff (Robinson, IL), Emma Goff (Robinson, IL), Brielle Goff (Robinson, IL), Jamie Nelson (Carbondale, IL), and Jessica McKeever (NC); as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Terri grew up in the Robinson area and was a 1971 graduate of Robinson High School. For most of her early life, she was a dedicated mother and homemaker to her beloved family. She also had a heart for the mentally disabled and would go on to dedicate over 20 years of her life to be a source of help and encouragement to those in need. She worked at South Haven Home for 10 years before getting on as a manager at Lawrence Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens, CILA Home, where she worked for 10 years before retiring in 2009. Away from work, she could often be found watching true crime mysteries on TV. While she truly enjoyed these shows, nothing brought her more joy than simply spending time with her granddaughters and her favorite grandson. They, along with the rest of her family will remember her as the glue that held them all together. Her enduring love and compassion could never be forgotten. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21st at the Hutsonville Cemetery. In honor of her years of working with the disabled, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics, with envelopes available at the cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
