Tambra O’Hara, 60, of Effingham, IL, died at 3:15 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Heritage Health in Robinson, IL. She was born October 30, 1958 in Corpus Christi, TX, the daughter of Kim O’Hara & Jan (Warren) O’Hara, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Robert Nathan on November 17, 1988 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Tucker O’Hara, Tyler Nathan, Taylor Nathan, and Turner Nathan; by her son-in-law, Curtis Bailey; by her beloved grandkids, Madison O’Hara, Lydia Moody, Joshua Moody, Laynie Moody, and Landon O’Hara; by her sister, Rinda O’Hara; and by her Effingham Bible Church family. Though she managed the Buffalo Wild Wings in Terre Haute for many years, her life was dedicated to her Lord and Savior. She was, by all accounts, a devoted Christian woman who was unafraid to share her love of Christ with others. In fact, Tambra was always the first to testify “Holy Spirit!” Because of her faith, she always found peace in her walk and was even able to smile through the pain of life’s lowest valleys. She battled breast cancer for nearly a decade, beating it three separate times. But she hasn’t lost her battle; far from it. Today, we celebrate because Tambra’s faith in Christ has made her whole. According to the wishes of her family, she will be cremated, with the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson in charge of arrangements. Her family will conduct a memorial service at the Effingham Bible Church at a later date.
