Susan Adelaide Shimko

Susan Adelaide Shimko, 63, of Hutsonville, IL, died at 11:31 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 10, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Eugene Goodwin and Gillie Wilson Goodwin. She was a former cook at a the Heritage Shelter Care. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Robinson.Susan is survived by 4 children and their spouses, Jap and Olonna Adams, Melrose, FL, Cindy and Kenny Bray, Hutsonville, Jeff and Bonnie Adams, Hutsonville, James Eugene Adams, Hutsonville; 7 grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Preston Adams, Brian Bray, Shyenne Adams, Wayland Adams, Trey Adams, Josie Adams; 2 brothers and her sister-in-law, Joe Goodwin, Interlachen, FL, Eugene and Gale Goodwin of CA; 2 sisters and her brother-in-law, Patricia Watson, Hollywood, FL, Sissy and Jim Powers, Orange Park, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jim and Kinney Goodwin; and her grandson, Gary Wayne Adams.A memorial service will be conducted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Robinson at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. At Susan€™s request her body will be donated to Genesis Legacy of Life, Memphis, TN.
