Steve Bailey

Steve Bailey, 67 of Robinson, IL, died March 15, 2010 at 6:55 p.m. EST, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born December 31, 1942 in Henderson, KY, the son of Edwin and Clarabelle (Wolfe) Bailey. He owned and operated the Candle Light Restaurant in Lawrenceville for 18 years, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Lawrenceville Elks and the Highland Church of Christ, Robinson.Steve married Judy Woolverton on December 31, 1996 and she survives. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Staci and Dustin Miller, Robinson; his granddaughter, Frankie Miller, Robinson; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Diana Bailey, Marshall, Jim and Vicki Bailey, Houston, TX; one sister, Katherine Sager, Santa Clara, CA; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Shane Bopp officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice or to the American Cancer Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
