Shirley Ann Reed

Shirley Ann Reed, 72 of Robinson, IL, died at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN at 6:04 p.m. (e. s. t.) Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born August 29, 1935 in rural Annapolis, IL, the daughter of Orley D. Goodwin and Juanita Malone Goodwin. She was a homemaker and a member and Sunday School teacher at the Dayspring Christian Fellowship Church in Trimble. Shirley married Doit Gene Reed on March 23, 1951 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Tracey Reed, Ridgefarm, Mark and Cathy Reed, Williamsport, IN; her daughter, Cheryl Miller, Robinson; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Dortha Oostveen, Wyoming, MI; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 15th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Pastor Larry McCormick is in charge of services. Burial is in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 14th. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Dayspring Christian Fellowship Church with envelopes at the funeral home.
