Along with working on refrigeration systems, he leased and operated the Flat Rock Marathon Gas Station before getting on with Fair Rite, where he worked until 1991. When he wasn’t busy at work, chances were, he had a fishing pole in his hand. He loved to frequent local ponds and lakes, and this was a great source of joy in his life. Even more so was his family, especially his grandkids and his dog, Baby.
