Sharon Kay Keeler

Sharon Kay Keeler, 64, of Palestine, IL, died at 1:50 a.m. (E.S.T.) Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. She was born March 29, 1945 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Emil Keeler and Ruby Pearl Hout Keeler. She started working in April 1971 in the warehouse at Victor Products Dana Corporation where she worked for over 38 years. She was recording secretary for the local INAW union and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Palestine.Sharon is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Donna Keeler, Flat Rock; 4 nephews and their spouses, Jeff and Misty Keeler, Flat Rock, Doug and Jhoy Keeler, Robinson, David and Nikki Keeler, Flat Rock, Wes and Angie Keeler, Flat Rock; 1 niece, Lori Keeler, Flat Rock; 13 great nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Ramona Nash, Hutsonville.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Brother Jack Cunningham and Jane Drake officiating. Burial will be in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 7th at the funeral home.
