Savannah Michelle Parker, the unborn daughter of Vince Wayne Parker, Sr. & Brandee Michelle Parker, found herself in the loving arms of Jesus at 1:02 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her older brother, Vincent Wayne Parker, Jr.; by her grandparents, Gary & Janice Parker, Tracy Fritz, and Keith Wingham; by her great-grandparents, Verna Lou “Mamie” Woodward, Evelyn Ford, Donna Ringo, and Cheryl & Jim Farr; by her aunts and uncles, Jennifer & Justin Houchin, Stacy & Matt Crouse, and Brandon Pershing; by her great-aunts & great-uncles, Darla Padgett, Lisa Woodward, Linda Parker, John Woodward, Cindy Ford, Mike & Susan Ford, Dolly & Dan Markel, Mike & Jenny Fritz, and John & Candy Fritz; as well as several cousins. In remembrance of the time she left us, a time of public visitation will begin at 1:02 p.m. and will last until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th at the First Christian Church in Palestine. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19 MANDATES PASSED BY THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE IN FORCE, AND IT WILL BE REQUIRED THAT ALL ATTENDEES WEAR FACE COVERINGS. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation and will be held at the Palestine Cemetery, with Pastor Dennis Steckley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to her memorial fund, with checks made payable to “Goodwine Funeral Homes”. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
