Sarah "Wilma" Wilson

Sarah €œWilma€ Wilson, 87, of Robinson, died at 2:30 a.m. E.S.T. at the Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN on June 19, 2011. She was born June 24, 1923 in Martin Township, Crawford County, the daughter of Willard Weger and Lola Shipman. Her father died in 1923. Her mother later married Ira Mace Goff, and they both preceded her in death. She married L.E. €œChink€ Wilson, Sr. on June 5, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Laffoon; 2 step-sisters, Margaret Richart and Irene Fry; and 2 step-brothers, Ira Goff and Norman Goff.She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Gene, Nolan & Nancy Wilson, all of Robinson; 2 grandsons, Chad Wilson, St. Louis, and Gene (Megan) Wilson, Robinson; 2 granddaughters, Noel (Chris) Pentell, Bridgeport, and Shannon (Logan) Gehlhausen, Pinedale, WY; 4 great-grandchildren and a special nephew, Gary J. Parker.She was a mother to everyone who needed one, and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Brother Gary Fasig officiating services. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor€™s choice.
