Sandra Jones Beard

Sandra Jones Beard, 65, of Robinson, IL, died at 3:05 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2007 at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL. She was born August 7, 1941 in rural Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Francis Willard Jones and Iona Hall Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549 Auxiliary and the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188 Auxiliary, and member of the Pearl Chapel Church.She married Samuel Jackson Beard on January 7, 1994 and he preceded her in death September 23, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Andy McIntosh on April 3, 1993; and 1 sister, Louise Welch.She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Eugene and Bessie Coil,Kyle Dwain and Veronica Coil, all of Olney, IL; 6 grandchildren; 1 sister, Barbara Galtin, Graford, TX; 1 brother, Robert Jones, Pickford, MI; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, with Pastor Bob McCarter officiating. Burial will be in the Hutsonville Cemetery, Hutsonville, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
