Roy E. Cunningham

Roy E. Cunningham, 82, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 4:20 p.m. (E.S.T.) Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born March 4, 1925 in Annapolis, IL, the son of John Cunningham and Leona Hout Cunningham. He retired from the warehouse at Marathon. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Robinson Masonic Lodge #250.He married Dorothy Jean Manning October 1945 and she preceded him in death on June 20, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Rebecca Cunningham; his grandson, Brian Cunningham; and his sister, Ruth Cunningham.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Leon K. and Yen T. Cunningham, Batesville, AR; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Mary Cunningham, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007at the Oblong Cemetery with Rev. Troy K. Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson.
