Rosa M Smith

Rosa M. Smith, 80, of Robinson, IL, died at 4:45 p.m. on November 11, 2019, at Cotillion Ridge in Robinson, IL. She was born May 6, 1939, the daughter of Floyd Smith & Martha Ellen (Hoskinson) Smith, both of whom preceded her in death. She also preceded in death by her brothers, Harry, James, John, Garnet, and Roy Smith; and by her sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Mary Smith. She is survived by siblings, Lois June Merriell (Clinton, IL), and Larry Dean Smith (Spruce Pine, NC); as well as several cousins and extended family members. Rosa was a happy soul who lit up any room she entered. She liked to keep busy with her hands, having cross-stitched and embroidered countless treasures through the years. She was also known to work jigsaw puzzles from time to time. The only thing she loved more than Mickey Mouse was her beloved family, who could never and will never forget her. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Rev. Paul Gray officiating. An hour of visitation will precede the service Friday morning. Burial will be in the Bailiff Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to her memorial fund, with checks made payable to "Goodwine Funeral Homes".
