Robert L. Mcmahan

Robert L. McMahan, 69 of Trimble, IL, died at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born April 9, 1939 in Marshall, IL the son of Morris McMahan and Wilfreda Fiscus McMahan. He was a retired employee of E. H. Baare Co. in Robinson and had served in the U. S. Army 101st Infantry Division.He married Jeanette Hightshoe on December 11, 1959 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 daughters, Vickie and her husband Jim Richardson, Robinson, Kathy Robbins and her finace` Steve Ashley, Robinson; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Richard McMahan, San Diego, CA, David and his wife, Shirley Fiscus, Paris and Darrell Fiscus, Paris; his 2 sisters, Shirley Day, Marshall, and Doris Thomas, Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert Jr.; 2 brothers, Mike Fiscus and Donald Dean McMahan; his sister, Sandy Kay McMahan; and a special niece. As was his request he will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Hospital or to the Robinson Toys for Tots program. Memorials may be mailed to either organization or to the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, who is in charge of the arrangements.
