Robert L Mcdaniel

Robert L. McDaniel, 81, of Robinson, IL, died at 12:17 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 19, 1928 in Palestine, IL, the son of Chester McDaniel and Josephine Alberty McDaniel. He graduated from Palestine High School and he served in the U. S. Army. He worked on the Catalytic Cracking Unit at Marathon Oil Company for 35 years. He also worked several years for Nick Ickes Chevrolet in Robinson.Robert married Emily Jane Wright on October 19, 1946 and she preceded him in death on March 21, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his son, Robert McDaniel.Robert is survived by his daughter Robbie Estep, Terre Haute, IN and her fianc, Robert Neal Estep, Bloomington, IN; his sister, Ellen Haag, Pocatello, ID; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Pat Simons, New Hebron.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20th at the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson. Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor€™s choice. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
