Robert Agan

Robert Agan, 76, of Palestine, IL, died Monday, May 3, 2010 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born August 13, 1933 in Salem, IN, the son of Pearl Agan and Loretha Jones Agan. He retired after many years as a self-employed television repairman in Crawford County and then retired from Trailmobile in Charleston, IL. His hobbies included fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.Robert married June Flenner on January 11, 1953 and she survives. He is also survived by 4 children and their spouses, Tina Inboden, Palestine, Vickie Waggoner, Tolono, Tom and Darlene Agan, Palestine, Donna and Doug Barrett, Flat Rock; his daughter-in-law, Betty Agan, Palestine; 31 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Price, Palestine, Elnora and Harold Myers, Riley, IN, Midge and Bud Arnold, Villa Grove, Betty & Jim Swinford, Marshall; and 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Charlene Agan, Villa Grove, Larry and Patty Agan, Oakland.He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Don Agan; his daughter, Diana Agan, and his brother, Charles Agan.Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine. Graveside services will be held after visitation at the Embarrass Cemetery, Redmon, IL with his grandson, Robert Agan officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor€™s choice.
