Randall L. Wesley, 88 of rural Flat Rock, IL, died at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 9:50 p.m. He was born April 16, 1922 in Honeycreek Township, Crawford County, IL, the son of Ernest E. Wesley and Leoline Clay Reynolds Wesley. He worked at Case Pottery in the Refire and Casting departments and was a member of the South Union Church in rural Flat Rock. He served in the U. S. Army in Europe during WWII and was a previous member of the Lawrenceville VFW.Randall married Vivian M. Gard on December 5, 1947 and she preceded him in death on August 14, 1950. He then married Edith M. Routien on December 14, 1957 and she preceded him in death on November 19, 2001. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wilbur and Dorsey Wesley, and by his sister Martha Rich.He is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons and their spouses: Ronald Wesley, Flat Rock, Cheryl and Jeffrey Musgrave, Porterville, Delores Wesley, Robinson, Glenn and Sherry Wesley, Oblong; 7 grandchildren, Cory Weger, Emily Kintner, Wesley Fool, Cynthia Fool, Ron Wesley, Brent Wesley, Nathan Wesley; 4 great grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Harold Murray, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at the South Union Church on Thursday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. Brother Jack Cunningham is in charge of services. Burial is in Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22nd and at the church one hour preceding the service on Thursday.The family asks that memorials be made to the South Union Church.
