Phil Wagner

Phil Wagner, age 76, of Lindenhurst, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born December 27, 1945, in Washington, IN, the son of the late Lloyd and Marybelle Wagner. He retired from Abbott Laboratories in 2005 after 27 years, having worked at several Abbott sites in North Carolina, Utah, Ohio, and Illinois. Phil was a member of the United Methodist and Presbyterian churches. He was an avid boater, fisherman, and golfer. He had a huge heart and was kind and generous to all who crossed his path. Above all, he was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sue; sister, Rosalie (Rex); sons, Brian (Lisa) and Scott (Ingrid); and five grandchildren, Grace, Lucy, Ava, Kaylie, and Kendall.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14th, at the Robinson New Cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of local arrangements.
