Peter C. Arnone

Peter C. Arnone, 86, of Olney, IL died on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 5:01 p.m. at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. He was born on November 6, 1924 in Independence, Louisiana, the son of Jake Arnone & Christina Lucido Arnone. He was a member of the U.S. Army and the Olney American Legion and was the owner of Arnone Body Shop in Willow Hill for several years.He married his first wife, Betty Bond on January 6, 1945 and she preceded him in death on December 17, 1991. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Heather Rich; a brother, Sam Arnone; and two sisters, Mary Caruso and Katie Rowkowski.He is survived by his two sons and his daughter-in-law, Rick C. & Karen Arnone, Robinson and Michael T. Arnone, Olney; his daughter, Tina Arnone, Olney; four grandchildren and his granddaughter-in-law, Travis & Sarah Arnone, Robinson, and Gage, Kalia, and Kaylee Arnone, all of Newton; two great-grandchildren, Peighton Arnone, Willow Hill, and Mason C. Arnone, Robinson; his brother and sister-in-law, Jake & Judy Arnone, Chicago; two sisters, Josie Utley, Olney and Vickie Sucher, Olney; as well as several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, IL. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
