Pauline Louise Meek

Pauline Louise Meek, 87, of Robinson, IL, died at 1:43 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Crawford County Convalescent Center, Robinson, IL. She was born April 6, 1924 in Lamotte Township, IL, the daughter of Ivan Plunkett and Lola Shew Plunkett. She graduated from Hutsonville High School and from Terre Haute Business College. She was a member of the Robinson American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary. She worked for Attorney O. L. Plunkett, was manager of the kitchen of the Quail Creek Country Club, worked in the kitchen at the Elks Lodge # 1188, and worked production at Victor Dana Corp from 1972 to 1988.Pauline is survived by her brother, Loren Plunkett, Louisville, KY; 2 nieces and their husbands, LagaraAnn and Dennis Goulatt, Columbus, OH and Kay and Paul Ogle, Santa Clarita, CA.She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Morgan and Maurice Plunkett.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Mike Irvin officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22nd at the funeral home.
