Paula Worman

Paula Worman, 71, of Dieterich, Illinois, died on July 18, 2024.

She was born on February 17, 1953, in Fresno, CA, the daughter of Charles & Lillian (Coffman) Sexton, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Charles, Vernon, Bob, Joann, Linda, and Brenda.

She married Thomas Worman on October 11, 1986, and he survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Kelly Lopez and Edie & Bryan Dent; her step-daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Jimmy Booth; her 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her brother, Mike; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Professionally, Paula dedicated her life to the service of others. She worked in home care before transitioning to a role as a case worker for Heartland Human Services.

Paula's love for the outdoors was a defining aspect of her life. She found joy in fishing, mushroom hunting, and swimming. Her spirit was most at home amidst nature, where she could often be found basking in the simple pleasures of the world around her.

It was her wish to be cremated, with services held at a later date. Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of the arrangements.
