Paul Warren Crawford

Paul Warren Crawford, 81, of Robinson, IL, formerly of West York, IL, died at 4:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1929 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Daily Edward Crawford and Nellie Marie Henchman Crawford. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea. He was a caster at the Pottery. Paul married Shirley Ann Blackwell on September 18, 1954 and she preceded him in death on October 16, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Bearley; and his brother, Glenn Crawford.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lisa Crawford, Robinson; his 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Earnie Mendenhall, Palestine, Lori and James Ireland, Robinson; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 1 great granddaughter; and 2 brothers and his sister-in-law, Dale and Mary Belle Crawford, Vincennes, IN and Ronnie Crawford, Flat Rock.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Birds Free Methodist Church with Ronnie Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the church preceding the services. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Relay for Life with envelopes available at the funeral home and at the church.
