Paul Steven Maxwell, 59, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 9:21 a.m. (EST), Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born February 4, 1953 in Olney, IL, the son of David P. Maxwell and Julia €œLucille€ Padgett Maxwell. He was painter with the Painter€™s Union # 1705, Robinson, IL, and a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.Paul married Peggy Anah Roy and January 23, 1974 and she survives. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Jeannie (Kenny) Goff, Robinson, Stephenie (Chad) Weaver, Hutsonville, Paul D. (Kristi) Maxwell, Robinson, and James (Tai) Roy, Robinson; 13 grandchildren, Beth, Douglas, and Kenny Goff, Jr., Jessica Meyer, Jordon Weaver, Andrew Weaver, Isaac Weaver, Dodge Maxwell, Gunner Maxwell, Bryce Maxwell, Landon Roy, Logan Roy, and Layton Roy; his great-grandson, Nathen Bennett; 2 brothers and his sister-in-law, David P. Maxwell, Jr., Memphis, TN, and William €œBill€ (Diane) Maxwell, Longbottom, OH; and his sister, Marylin Watkins, Newton, IL.He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother James Maxwell; and his brother-in-law William Watkins.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2nd at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in rural Robinson with Pastor Paul Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson.
