Paul Lincoln Walters, Jr., 89 of Robinson, IL, died at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. He was born January 5, 1922 in Palestine, IL, the son of Paul Walters and Joy Inboden Walters. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII in Japan. Paul was a machine repairman for Ford Motor in Chicago Heights for over 30 years and retired December 23, 1981. He was a member of the Homewood Masonic Lodge #1169 and the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Robinson.Paul married Dulcine Guyer on June 25, 1944 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Carol Diane Wright (Pasadena, TX); four grandchildren, Kelly Wright (Colorado Springs, CO), Casey Wright (Houston, TX), Jami Wright (Houston, TX) and Richard Wright (Chicago, IL); 9 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob Walters; and his sister, Marjorie Wagoner.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. Amy Wharton officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted by the Palestine Masonic Lodge # 849 at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation on Friday. Memorials may be made to the donor€™s choice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
