Patsy Ann Redman, 82, of Flat Rock, IL, died at 12:26p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 9, 1937 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Wilson Redman & Lucille (Heimrich) Redman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerome, Donald, and Edward Redman; by her sister-in-law, Aggie; by her niece and nephews, Ginger Redman Dunlap, Mike Redman, and Jeff Redman, She is survived by her brother & sister-in-law, Harry & Janet Redman (Palestine, IL); by two sisters-in-law, Wanda Redman and Nedra Redman-Pleasant; and she loved all her nieces and nephews, Linda Cowle, Pam Resch, Brad Redman, Gary Redman, Allen Redman, Rodney Redman, Rusty Redman, Kathy Brough, Teresa McQuaid, Greg Redman, Mark Redman, and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. A 1956 graduate of Robinson High School, Patsy would go on to work for L.S. Heath & Sons and Leaf before retiring from Hershey after 43 years of total service. She sold Stanley Home Products for many years as well. Much of her free time found her crocheting or working on a puzzle. She was also quite the collector as well, as many of her family can attest and had a particular penchant for Longaberger baskets. Anyone who had the good fortune to know Patsy will remember her cheery disposition. She loved her family and friends with abandon, and they will never forget her for as long as they live. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24th at the Mound Cemetery, rural Willow Hill, IL, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating the service. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, with envelopes available at the cemetery.
