Patrick Lee Stone

Patrick Lee “Pat” Stone, 61, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. He was born March 19, 1948 in Olney, IL, the son of Hamer Stone and Martha Faltemier Stone. He worked at Marathon for 35 years and was a Capital Projects Coordinator. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Robinson Elks Lodge #1188, a former Robinson Alderman, and Santa to many children.Pat married Rhonda Bachelor April 12, 1969 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 sons and his daughter-in-law, Brian and Olivia Stone, Woodbridge, VA, and Tyler Stone, Lawrenceville; his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Plane, Howell, MI; 3 grandchildren, Sarah and Katherine Stone, Woodbridge, VA and Hudson Plane, Howell, MI; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Jan Stone, TX, Ted and Margie Stone, Robinson; and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Gerry Weber, CA.Pat was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Shirley Kraus; and 2 brothers, Bill Stone and Edward “Bud” Stone.Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21st at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Robinson with Rev. William Overmann officiating. Burial will be in the Ste. Marie Cemetery, Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. There will be a prayer service at 6 p.m. during the visitation. Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
