Patricia "Trish" Brink

November 1, 1971 — January 15, 2022

Patricia "Trish" Brink, 50, of Robinson, IL, died January 15, 2022, in the comfort of her home. She was born November 1, 1971, in Olney, IL, the daughter of Dale & Patsy (Baker) Brink. She grew up in Robinson and was a 1989 graduate of Robinson High School. She would go on to work at Flo's Restaurant, where she was a staple for many years before finding employment with Hershey. Eventually, she made a move to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana, who valued her integrity and work ethic, to the point that they sent her to Japan to learn about the lines they'd incorporate in Princeton. She truly enjoyed her role here, but unfortunately, her time with Toyota was cut short due to a career-ending back injury. Much of her free time found her on the move. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, she spent countless hours atop her Harley Sportster and also enjoyed the freedom of 4-wheeling off-road. More than anything, however, this social creature enjoyed being around others. Anyone who knew Trish could tell you that she was the life of the party! She was, by all accounts, a lovable jokester who could make anyone laugh and did her part to leave a smile on her loved ones' faces. They will recognize the treasure we have lost in Trish Brink. She had a heart of gold and would routinely put the needs of others before her own. In so doing, she lived a rich and fulfilling life. After all, it's not the years in our life that count...it's the life in our years! Left behind to mourn her passing is her best friend and "seester", Kathy Harvey; her niece and the love of her life, Trisdan Baxter; her uncle, Ralph Baker, Jr.; her aunts, Linda Baker, Judy & Roy McKinstry, Mary Lou Brink, Sue Brink, and Hazel Brink; several beloved cousins, including Tyler & Amanda Hobbs; as well as many, many dear friends, including Jen Malee. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, including her "Papaw" & "Mamaw", Stanley David Bass & Catherine Bass; by her grandparents, including Ralph, Sr. & Catherine Ann Baker; and by her parents, Dale & Patsy (Baker) Brink. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22nd, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Funeral services will immediately follow and will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating. During the service, family and friends will be given the opportunity to share stories that celebrate what this dear woman has meant to us. A live stream of her service will be available on Goodwine Funeral Homes' Facebook page or at https://www.goodwinefuneralhomes.com/live-stream/live-stream . Burial will be in the Robinson Old Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the "VFW Transportation Fund", with envelopes available at the funeral home.
