Patricia Jean €œPat€ PethtelPat Pethtel, 61 of Oblong, IL, died at 12:50 a.m. (E.S.T.) Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 31, 1949 the daughter of Lewis Edwin Simpson and Norma Jean Rittenour Simpson. She worked in the office of Pioneer Labels for 10 years. Pat was a past member of the Palestine Junior Women€™s Club and enjoyed fishing, camping, and shopping. Pat was preceded in death by her significant other, Mike Brashear on June 23, 2010 and by her parents.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Nikki and Larry Flax, Evansville, IN, Kerry and Tim Watson, Flat Rock, Shannon and Chris Roach, Lawrenceville, Amber and Steve Waldrop, Bel Aire, Angela and Lance Edwards, West Palm Beach, FL, and Michael Brashear, Robinson; 16 grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Debbie Simpson, Virginia, Bradley and Susan Simpson, Georgia; 2 sisters, Barbara Goodwin, Robinson, and Jennifer Simpson, Morris; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastor Shane Bopp officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Highland Church of Christ Building Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
