Patricia Carrie Cox

Patricia 'Patty' Cox, 42, of Robinson, died at home on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 3:15 p.m. She was born February 1, 1966 at Scott Air Force Base, the daughter of Ernest A. Cox and Fumiyo Higashi Cox. Patty was an avid reader and collected bears. She worked at the Lawrence Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens from 1985 to 2007 and attended the 1995 Special Olympics in Connecticut. She is survived by her mother; 2 sisters, Helena S. Rowan, Robinson and Doris Wiesike, Robinson; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Amel L. and Angie Cox, Morton, IL, Tony and Hiroko Cox, New Albany, IN, Alexander and Geri Cox, Kaneoho, HI; a half-sister, Gloria Jean Cox, Bush, LA; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins; locally by her niece Lorie and husband Jack Saunders, Robinson and her niece Jessica Stevens, Robinson. She was preceded in death by her father.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 12, 2008 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardinville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, April 11th. Memorials may be made to the Lawrence Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
