Nunzio S. Bagliere

February 1, 1967 — September 25, 2022

Nunzio S. Bagliere, 55, of Palestine, IL, passed away on September 25, 2022, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was born February 1, 1967, in Syracuse, NY, the son of Robert Bagliere & Judith (VanGorden) Green, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robbie Bagliere and Todd Parody.

He is survived by his son, Jordan Bagliere & fiancée Ashley Kellogg; his daughter & son-in-law, Brianna & Douglas Meyers. He is also survived by the apples of his eye, his beloved grandchildren: Jordan's daughter, Ashlynne Bagliere, and Brianna's sons, Kaige, Kaiden, and Kaison Meyers; by his siblings, Robert Bagliere, Jr., Gina Caywood, Kicia Hanes, Bonnie Miller, Mark Parody, Sandy Turner, and Amber Rubadeau; by several nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved four-legged companion, his cat, Rolex.

Though his family moved all over in his youth, Nunzio eventually found a home in Bloomington, IN. Seeing as how the man could do just about anything, he became a well-respected and oft-requested handyman, working in many capacities throughout his productive years. His last job was as a trimmer for his brother's business, All Stitch Upholstery before poor health pushed him out of the workforce.

Much of his free time found him expressing his artistic side. Nunzio enjoyed drawing but was especially fond of painting stained glass, a pastime that brought life to his living. He was known to draw smiley faces, which is appropriate, considering his ever-joyful demeanor! In short, his smile and wonderful laugh were contagious to anyone he ran into. Those same people could also attest to his kind heart. He thought of others at the break of every day when he took to social media, posting a "good morning" for friends and family to enjoy. When he saw someone in need, he would give without condition nor thought of self. His generosity of spirit left behind a monumental impact, the extent to which we'll never fully grasp. While losing him breaks our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that Nunzio Bagliere filled his 55 years with real and genuine living!

It was Nunzio's wish to be cremated without public services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of these arrangements.
