Norma Ester Thompson

Norma Ester Thompson, 79, Robinson, IL, died at 4:30 p.m. e.s.t. Monday, March 09, 2009 at Willow Manor, Vincennes, IN. She was born December 20, 1929 in Hutsonville, IL, the daughter of Lyman Powell and Methyl Maddox Powell. She worked in production at the Robinson Transformer.She married Harold Thompson and he preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lucille Powell, and her brother, Omer Powell.She is survived by her 3 daughter and her son-in-law, Kim and Shane Breedlove, Annapolis, Sherry Thompson, Robinson, Cathy Ayers, Evansville; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tammy Thompson, Oblong; 5 grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Lou Powell, Fl; 2 sisters, Pansy Schaffer and Fern Hamblin, both of Paducah, KY.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Hutsonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday preceding the services at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Dialysis Unit, Vincennes, IN. with envelopes available at the funeral home.
