Naomi Alice Brown

Naomi Alice Brown, 86 of Lincoln, IL, formerly of Palestine, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Christian Village in Lincoln. She was born October 31, 1923 in Palestine, the daughter of Joe T. Brimberry and Alice Biggs Brimberry. She retired as an apartment complex manager. She attended Palestine High School and was a member of the Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln.Naomi married Irven Floyd Brown on September 11, 1942 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and 4 sisters, Katherine Brimberry, Florence Shedelbower, Virginia Kitchell, and Geneva Oaks.She is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Aliceann and Philip Muller, Falls Church, VA, Elaine and Larry Wooolard, Lincoln, Katherine Sue and Jim Keslin, Crown Point, IN; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Palestine Cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
