Nancy E. Myles

Nancy E. Myles, 69, of Hutsonville, IL, formerly of rural Palestine, died at 7:32 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2009 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born May 5, 1939 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Herschel “Shorty” Sager and Harriett Kelly Sager. Nancy was a cashier at Brock Food Town for 38 years. She was a member of the Flat Rock United Methodist Church and attended the Hutsonville United Methodist Church.Nancy married Donald R. Myles on July 5, 1963 and he survives. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Harry Rich, Flat Rock; and 21 nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters, Virginia Butler and Mary Nader.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Pastor Maurice Midgley officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hutsonville United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
