Morris Nicholas, Jr., 81 of Easley, SC, formerly of Robinson, died November 7, 2009 in Easley. He was born October 27, 1928 in Brazil, IN, the son of Morris W. Nicholas, Sr. and Norma Rowland Nicholas. He graduated from Robinson High School in the class of 1946 and worked for 42 years with Marathon Oil Co. as a marketing representative. He was of the Christian faith. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Fern Nicholas; loving father of Thomas Nicholas, Clearwater, FL, and Julie Robillard and her husband Keith, Pinellas Park, FL. He was a devoted grandfather to Michael Nicholas and wife Jessica, Montreal Quebec; Jonathon Nicholas Athens, OH; Hannah Vinnedge and husband Mathew, Murfreesboro,TN; Jeremy Konrad-Nicholas, and fianc, Dawn, Murfreesboro, TN, Sarah Deais and her husband, Reda, San Antonio, TX; 12 great-grandchildren; his sister, Norma Myers, Albuquerque, NM; and was an uncle to several nieces and nephews.He had married Patricia York August 2, 1948 and she preceded him in death on May 16, 1996. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his son, Steven Nicholas. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m., at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
