Mildred D. Culp

Mildred D. Culp, 85 of Palestine, died at 4:24 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Richland Care and Rehabilitation Center, Olney. She was born January 27, 1922 in Montgomery Township, the daughter of Harrison and Beula (Landrith) Espy. She worked at FairRite and was a member of the Olney Eagles Auxiliary, the Outer West Market Church of Christ, Palestine, and a life member of both the Robinson American Legion Auxiliary and the Robinson VFW Auxiliary.Mildred married Floyd Culp on June 13, 1941, and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1992. She was also preceded by her parents; 5 brothers, Royal, John, Raymond, Kenneth and Sherill Espy; and her sister, Maxine McPhearson.She is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Harold Richardson, Palestine, Pam and Mark Preston, Robinson; 5 grandchildren, Ralph E. Brock, Dorey L. Robinson, Sheldon W. Franklin, Katrina Halfachor, Kristina Bates; 5 step grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law Paul & Pat Espy, Cerro Gordo; and her sister, Julia South, Muskegon, MI.There will be cremation and a private family memorial service at a later date. Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of the arrangements.
