Micki Jolynn Hout, 49, of Robinson, IL, passed away on November 8, 2024. She was welcomed with open arms by her mother, Sherri Lewis; her grandmother, Elsie Turner; her aunt, Christine Turner; and her great-aunt, Terri Pease.
Micki was born on December 26, 1974, in Robinson, IL. Her life was defined by her bright spirit and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She is survived by her beloved children, Jordan Hout, Mikayleigh Hout, and Faith Baron; her stepdaughter, Alex Whitley; and her adored grandchildren, Hayden Timms, Jamie Wesner and Tanner Whitley. She leaves behind her brother, Samuel Lewis; her sisters, Brooke Garrard and April Rutan; and her life partner, Tim Baron. She will be dearly missed by her special cousins, Leslie Sanders, Alisha Sanders, and Tim Walton; her close best friend, Lisa Tangman, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Micki's personality was magnetic. Outgoing and always on the go, she was a true busybody who filled her days with vibrant activity. Her loyalty knew no bounds, and her love for others shone in every interaction. Her caring nature and unique gifts touched countless lives, whether she was lending a listening ear or sharing a heartfelt laugh.
Growing up in Robinson, Micki held various roles throughout her life, each defined by her compassion and dedication. She devoted herself to caring for individuals with mental disabilities at the Cilas, a testament to her nurturing and selfless nature. Micki also worked as an assistant for a realtor aid in Dallas, TX, and spent several years working at Murphy's before finding her final place of employment at Hershey.
Micki's life was rich with hobbies that mirrored her vibrant personality. She had a keen eye for unique finds at garage sales and a knack for collecting knick-knacks. Shopping trips and concerts-where she could be found enjoying everything from jazz to rock, alternative, and country music-were among her favorite pastimes. She cherished the quiet satisfaction of completing puzzles, as well as the warmth of gathering with friends and family. Special moments watching *Reba* with her children were treasured memories she held close to her heart. Micki's adventurous spirit truly came alive when she embarked on ghost-hunting adventures, seeking out the whispers of spirits within her community.
Micki Jolynn Hout was a light to all who knew her-a woman of love, laughter, and limitless devotion. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who were blessed to call her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15th, at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastor Eric Hankins officiating. Memorials may be made to her memorial fund, with checks made payable to "Goodwine Funeral Homes".
