Michael "Mike" Utley

Michael “Mike” Utley, 49, of Flat Rock, IL, died on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born February 9, 1966, in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Charles E. & Sue Thomlinson Utley (Flat Rock, IL), both of whom survive. He is also survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Zach & Samantha Utley (Robinson, IL); by his daughter, Danielle Dunlap (Robinson, IL); by his brother, Brentley & Stacy Utley (Robinson, IL); his sister, April Utley & Monty Hawley (Flat Rock, IL); his special Aunt Babbie; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles & Ruth Utley; his maternal grandparents, Robert & Delsie Thomlinson; and by his brother, Christopher Utley. Mike’s life was full, as he enjoyed fishing, cars, and playing bingo. He will long be remembered for the care he gave to others. It was his wish to be cremated, with no public services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Mike Utley Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to Goodwine Funeral Homes.
