Michael Keith Goodwin

Michael Keith Goodwin, 53 of Robinson, IL, died in Sullivan County, IN Monday, June 4, 2007 as a result of an auto accident. He was born June 27, 1953 in Robinson, IL, the son of Hal Keith Goodwin and Phyllis Jean Wieman Goodwin.He attended Robinson High School and then obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He was a Trainer with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Oakland Raiders, Indiana University, and the Lawrenceville Indians. He was presently employed at Wal-Mart and at the Two Ralph's Restaurant in Palestine. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Jean Goodwin of Robinson; his sister and her friend, Canda Goodwin and Danny Braden, rural Flat Rock; his aunts and uncles, Jerry Joe and Cookie Wieman, North Carolina and Ruth and Lowell Parrott, Robinson; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father in 1991; his grandparents, Ancile and Ruby Wieman, and Willard and Velma Goodwin. Funeral services will be Friday, June 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Brother Mark Carpenter is in charge of services. Burial is in the Oblong City Cemetery, Oblong, IL. Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice with envelopes at the funeral home.
