Mary Virginia Milbourn

Mary Virginia 'Jennie' Milbourn, 87 of Marshall, IL, died at Burnsides Community Health Center in Marshall at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was born April 23, 1922, in West Union, the daughter of Posey and Helen Medsker Rush. She worked as a cook at Lindley’s Restaurant in West Union for many years. She also worked for Coil Sales in West Union in production. She was a member of the Marshall First Christian Church and a lifetime member of the Marshal VFW Auxillary.She married Charles Milbourn October 13, 1963 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter; three sisters, Phyllis Miller, Flo Reynolds, Edith Rush; two brothers, Norman Rush and Randall Rush.She is survived by four children and their spouses, Larry and Linda Shelton, Casey, Jane Baugh, Lubbock, TX, Richard and Sue Shelton, Palestine, Diane Johnson, Marshall; one step-daughter and her husband, Sue and Floyd Reinard, MO; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister, Doris Jackson, West Union; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Saturday, May 30th at 11 a.m. at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union. Brother John Cutshall is in charge of services. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery in rural West Union. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday.Memorials may be made to the Marshall First Christian Church with envelopes at the funeral home.
