Martha C. Buckner

Martha C. Buckner, 92, of Marshall, IL, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2011 at the Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall. She was born March 11, 1919 in Clarksville, IL, the daughter of Wes Millhouse and Frances Chaney Millhouse. She was a bookkeeper for the Marshall Loan Co. Martha married Forrest Wendell Buckner on April 3, 1943 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1999. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Barney and George Millhouse.She is survived by her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Phyllis Buckner, Belleview, FL and Robert and Jean Buckner, Farmersburg, IN; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her sister, Catherine Findley, Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall, IL; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18,2011 at the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, IL with Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Memorials may be made to the Clarksville Cemetery with envelopes available at the graveside. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home, West Union is in charge of arrangements.
