Marjorie Virginia Henon

Marjorie Virginia (Burr) Henon, 67, of West York, IL, died December 15, 2020, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN, following several months of declining health. She was born February 10, 1953 outside of Edgewood, IL, the daughter of Jim & Alice (Surrells) Burr. Though Marjorie worked many jobs along her life's journey, when asked which was the most rewarding, she would say, "caring for my husband and five beautiful daughters". She married Luther Henon on April 17, 1971, and he survives. She is also survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Thelma & Monty Wall, June & Jeff Carnahan, Lois Henon & David York, Louise Shields & Kevin Meiring, and Tina Hayes; by her grandchildren, Scott Baud, Jr., Aaron Baud, Christopher Carnahan, Carol (Carnahan) Mills, Austin York, David "Bumpy" York, Curtis Shields, Lucas Shields, Jacob McElroy, William Hayes, and Kathryn Kendall; by five great-grandchildren; by her brother, Bill Burr; by her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bly; by her brother-in-law, Wesley Henan; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her sisters, Jenny and Joyce; by her brothers, Donnie, John, Jimmy, and Jerry; and by her Marine grandson, LCpl James Luther Baud. We find peace in our memories of this sweet, loving soul, and we are thankful that she is no longer suffering. It was Marjorie's wish to be cremated without public services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
